Surrey Firefighter Jobs - Surrey Fire And Rescue Service

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service has the responsibility of protecting over one million people who live in the 650 square miles of Surrey.

The Service employs just under 1000 people across the County in a variety of roles. Comprising both uniformed personnel and support staff, they all share one aim: With you, making Surrey safer.

From administrative/professional support staff and, of course, not forgetting firefighters (both full-time and on-call) and Command and Control staff, there is a range of opportunities for employment within the Service.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all candidates applying for positions with Surrey Fire and Rescue Service must be eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom.

Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment and selection process.

If successful with your initial application, you will undergo written tests, practical tests, an interview, medical check and references.

Individuals interested in a career as a wholetime firefighter should visit the 'Recruitment and Work Experience' pages on www.surrey-fire.gov.uk.
