21/02/10 Safer Epsom - Come and meet your Neighbourhood Police

The Court Ward and Ewell West Neighbourhood Police team is holding a day time, informal meeting and would like to invite residents to pop in and meet them.

The meeting is designed for local residents and businesses to meet the neighbourhood team, in an informal setting and to discuss any issues that concern them in their community.

Neighbourhood Specialist Officer PC Catherine Hearn and PCSO Phillip Greenaway will be attending the meeting on Thursday, 25 February at Longmead Day Centre, Sefton Road, from 10am.

Safer Neighbourhood Officer PC Catherine Hearn said: “We are always looking at ways to improve our service to our community and we thought a less formal meeting during the day would be of benefit to residents. Some people are not able to make our more formal meetings in the evenings and this drop in style meeting is designed for those people.

“It is important the community has easy access to their Neighbourhood teams. We hope that this type of drop in meeting will be seen as a worthwhile opportunity for residents and businesses to pop along and have a chat, along with helping us to build relationships in our community.”
